Contributing factors affecting the effectiveness of Endoscope Reprocessing

RESULTS• In this Study, most of the Health Care Professionals (71.42 %) were Males.In which 57.14 percent were Nurses • The Practice of Reprocessing of Endoscopes was Manpower Environment Equipment Materials Procedure Measurement Manpower: lack of defined roles of HCPs, lack of professional Institutional training, inconsistent cleaning personnel, understaffing of Nursing staff and technicians.Environment: Lack of space in Reprocessing room, distance from Procedure room to Reprocessing room and no separation for Clean Area and Contaminated Area.
