Abstract

Conducting and writing literature reviews are important parts of being a scholar. Well-written literature reviews can greatly enhance the quality of a study, while effective review articles are often extensively cited. In this webinar, we will explore how to write a literature review that goes beyond simply listing previous studies by applying a critical perspective. We will examine the entire review process, from finding relevant articles to structuring the review itself, whether for a standalone review paper or as part of a research article. Webinar highlights include: • Strategies and tools for finding relevant articles. • How to make the most of reference management software to organize your references. • Different ways to structure and organize a literature review. • Tips for how to engage critically and professionally with previous research. • A discussion of the differences between literature reviews as standalone papers and as a part of research articles. Dr. Zachary Wilmot brings you the next installment in the LetPub Webinar Series, where we talk about how to review the literature in a critical manner and avoid a play-by-play retelling. Join us on Thursday, February 26, at 9AM EST (10PM UTC+8). A certificate of completion will be provided after the session. Not sure if you can attend?
