Abstract

This study assessed the impact of Laguna University's in-house review program on the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) performance of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) graduates.Using a quantitative design, the study analyzed Pre-LET and Post-LET scores of 145 first-time takers from Batches 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.Descriptive statistics and a paired sample t-test were used to determine performance improvement. Results showed that BEED passers initially performed below the LET benchmark, while BSED passers generally met expected levels. After completing the review program, BEED achieved a mean score of 81.93 and BSED reached 82.29, indicating substantial gains for both groups. The t-test confirmed a significant difference between Pre-LET and Post-LET scores, validating the impact of the review intervention.Findings suggest that the in-house review program positively influenced LET outcomes and support its institutionalization across all board programs to strengthen exam preparation and student success.
