Data on the Vietnamese Endemic Mayflies (Ephemeroptera: Insecta)
Abstract
This study provides data on the distribution, diagnostic characters, habitat characteristics, and photographs of 14 endemic mayfly species (Ephemeroptera) from Vietnam. Specimens were collected from mountain streams ranging from lowland to high-altitude zones, revealing clear ecological preferences and microhabitat specializations among taxa. The results contribute to a better understanding of species diversity and ecological differentiation of Vietnamese endemic mayflies.
