WHAT IS “BADIIYLIK” AND WHAT ABOUT “BADIIYAT”?
Abstract
This article provides an in-depth scholarly analysis of the concepts of badiylik (artistic quality) and badiiyat (aesthetic integrity) within the framework of Uzbek literary studies and translation theory. The study interprets badiylik as a system of artistic techniques and stylistic devices used by an author, whereas badiiyat is defined as the resultant aesthetic effect produced by these devices.
