Abstract

This article analyzes issues of equivalence that arise in the process of translating zoonym proverbs from the Dari language into Uzbek. The study examines the semantic, cultural, and figurative features of zoonym units and addresses the problems of ensuring their equivalent and adequate translation into Uzbek.
