Abstract

This case study presents a graphic design campaign aimed at increasing health assets in the peri-urban area of Tar-ragona, and approached through design fiction. Following a phase of fieldwork and preliminary research, interven-tion spaces were identified in the Francolí–Pont del Diable area, where salutogenic challenges were observed thatare currently unaddressable due to the constraints imposed by industrial infrastructures. A social media campaignwas developed using generative artificial intelligence to visualize alternative, health-centered scenarios. The projectconcludes with a questionnaire-based evaluation, which explores the degree of public acceptance of the proposedfutures, the willingness of citizens to engage in their realization, and the health-related assets associated with theprojected imagery.
