Abstract

Objective: Automated insulin delivery (AID) systems represent the most advanced technology for managing insulin-dependent diabetes. This review compares three AID systems currently available in Poland. Materials and methods: A descriptive comparative analysis was conducted, focusing on technical features, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) integration, clinical applicability, cost considerations, and supporting clinical evidence. Results: MiniMed 780G, CamAPS FX, and tubeless Medtrum TouchCare systems provide effective glycemic control, but differ in CGM compatibility, automatic mode requirements, exercise and meal management, and suitability for children and pregnant women. Conclusions: Structured education of healthcare professionals, policymakers, and patients is essential for safe and personalized implementation of AID technologies.
