Ethics of the Teaching Profession in the Context of Legal Liability

The problem raised in this study concerns teaching ethicsfrom a general and universal perspective. Various approachesto this subject, which relatively rarely appearsin the discourse on the professional preparation of youngteachers, have been characterised. In the second part ofthe work, the issue of ethics is analysed from the viewpointof the formal and legal liability of a teacher. Theaim of the article is to familiarise the reader with issuesrelated to professional ethics, which — in addition toknowledge and competences — are essential elementsof the effective and proper professional development ofa teacher and teaching future generations.
