Stylistic Structures in the Maqamah ‘shams al khilafa ‘ by Ibn Mahrez al-Wahrani

This study aims to analyse the most significant stylistic features in the Maqama " ‫شمس‬ ‫الخالفة‬" shams al khilafa by Ibn Mahrez al-Wahrani, using a stylistic approach to reveal the artistic and linguistic techniques that influence the text's structure and purpose.The study focuses on repetition, symbolism, artistic imagery, dialogue, linguistic deviation and intertextuality.It concludes that these stylistic structures work together to fulfil semantic and aesthetic functions, thereby supporting the content and expanding the scope of interpretation.It was also concluded that al-Wahrani blends classical Arabic heritage with Algerian literary specificity, giving the maqamah its stylistic uniqueness, and affirming the usefulness of the stylistic approach in analysing maqamah texts.
