SATISFACCIÓN LABORAL COMO MOTOR DEL RENDIMIENTO ORGANIZACIONAL: UN ESTUDIO ESTADÍSTICO APLICADO
Abstract
Abstract Job satisfaction is a critical piece in managing human talent, and its influence on overall organizational performance remains a top priority area in contemporary research. Our main objective for this article is to statistically establish the specific relationship between employee job satisfaction and job performance within a public sector institution. To achieve this, we conducted a quantitative, descriptive, and correlational study. The sample was composed of 163 workers chosen using a probabilistic sampling method suitable for finite populations. We utilized a structured survey and then built a contingency table, incorporating representative questions on satisfaction and perceived productivity. Subsequently, we applied the Pearson's Chi-Squared test to determine the significance of the relationship between these variables.Crucially, the results yielded a p-value of $0.000$, which is significantly below the $0.05$ threshold. This finding allowed us to confidently reject the null hypothesis and confirm a strong statistical relationship between job satisfaction and productivity. Ultimately, the study concludes that employees reporting higher levels of satisfaction consistently demonstrated improvements in their performance, organizational attitude, and the overall quality of their work, successfully validating both classical theories and modern approaches explaining the link between well-being and productivity.
