Perbandingan Metode Watermarking Singular Value Decomposition dan Discrete Wavelet Transform Untuk Perlindungan Hak Cipta Dalam Citra Digital
Abstract
In the increasingly advanced digital era, copyright infringement of digital images hasbecome a growing concern for copyright holders. Ensuring the authenticity and validity of digital images is becoming increasingly important in addressing this challenge. In this research, the author introduces two watermarking methods that have the potential to protect the copyright of digital images, namely Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). The author chose these two methods because of their proven ability to embed watermarks into images well, while maintaining high visual quality. This research was conducted through a series of comprehensive experiments, where the author analyzed the performance of SVD and DWT in various scenarios. The author considered the qualitative aspects of both methods, including the ability to maintain important details in the image and their impact on the visual quality of the resulting image. Based on the test results, the SVD method can produce better quality, albeit with slight differences, as evidenced by the test results by calculating the SSIM value. The SVD method has a value closer to 1 compared to the DWT method, which is 0.9972.
