In the modern era, many organizations, including educational institutions, have adopted information technology to improve efficiency. At SMK Mutiara 1 Jakarta, library operations are still performed manually, using logbooks to record book borrowing and returns.This process is time-consuming and lacks data security. To address these issues, a web-based library information system was designed using the Waterfall development method and modeled with UML diagrams, including use case, sequence, activity, and class diagrams. The system aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of library management, especially in recording borrowing and returning activities.
