E-Gramapanchayat: Online public portal

The rapid digital transformation in India has created an urgent need for smart governance solutions, especially in rural areas where administrative processes remain largely manual and inefficient.This research presents an E-Gram Panchayat Management System, a comprehensive web-based platform designed to modernize rural governance by digitizing property management, tax collection, certificate issuance, and citizen services.The system maintains structured online records of houses, shops, water supply connections, and local businesses while enabling citizens to pay taxes -including property, water, and house tax -through a secure online interface.A unique feature of the solution is the implementation of QR-based verification, allowing users to scan government-issued QR codes to instantly view property details, tax status, and receipts, thereby enhancing transparency and reducing fraud.The platform empowers administrators with a centralized dashboard for real-time monitoring of village activities, ongoing development projects, public event records, and service requests.By eliminating paperwork, streamlining data storage, and improving accessibility, the E-Gram Panchayat System strengthens accountability, boosts efficiency, and contributes significantly to the vision of Digital India and Smart Village initiatives.The project demonstrates an effective, scalable approach to digital rural governance, providing a robust foundation for future enhancements such as mobile app integration, digital payments, and AI-based analytics.
