Abstract

The Performance-Based Acquisition (PBA) System is an intelligent and automated framework designed to evaluate staff performance in colleges and universities in a structured, transparent, and efficient manner.Existing evaluation processes rely heavily on manual paperwork, physical verification of documents, and lengthy approval cycles, which often lead to delays, inaccuracies, and lack of accountability. The PBA system eliminates these limitations by incorporating automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and analytics into a single digital platform. The system automatically imports essential institutional data such as performance tracking and records, validates staff documents and certificates using AI-powered verification, and generates fair performance scores through weighted algorithms. It also provides real-time dashboards and performance insights to support decision-making by administrators, department heads, and accreditation bodies.Furthermore, its built-in compliance management ensures alignment with institutional policies, quality assurance guidelines, and accreditation standards.By reducing manual effort, improving accuracy, and enhancing transparency, the PBA system not only strengthens staff evaluation but also supports long-term institutional growth, accountability, and academic excellence.
