Blockchain-Enabled Secure Train Ticket Reservation System Using Django Framework

The increasing digitalization of railway reservation systems has enhanced user convenience but also introduced challenges related to data security, privacy, transparency, and fraudulent ticket manipulation.Traditional centralized systems remain vulnerable to unauthorized data alterations, database corruption, and fake ticket generation.This research presents a Blockchain-integrated Train Ticket Reservation System using Django Framework.The system enables user registration, train search, real-time seat selection, payment confirmation, and automated PDF ticket generation using ReportLab.A lightweight blockchain structure is integrated to ensure immutable, tamper-proof booking records.Experimental evaluation shows that the proposed system significantly enhances transparency and data integrity while maintaining efficient performance.The system demonstrates potential for scalable deployment in smart transportation ecosystems.
