VISUALIZING THE SUCCESS OF SAFE AGILE EXECUTION THROUGH HR LENS IN CLOUD & DATA-LAKE PROGRAMS THROUGH QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS
Abstract
All Software Projects, especially cloud transformation and data-lake modernization programs started adopting the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to handle systemic complexity, cross functional teams, and rapid value delivery. However, many organizations still overlook the human-factor drivers-leadership style, team culture, and competency models-that determine the success for cloud-native and data-engineering initiatives.Cloud and data-lake projects demand strong coordination between cross functional teams like architecture, DevOps, data engineering, security, governance, and business stakeholders.SAFe Agile is widely deployed for this purpose to eliminate leadership deficits, Ambiguity on role definitions, and weak collaborative organization culture across ARTs.Traditional management paradigms-rooted in Theory X, often clash with the autonomydriven nature of SaFe.This paper shows evidence that Theory Y leadership, combined with measurable competencies, forms the cultural bedrock needed for delivering sustainable value in cloud modernization.
