CONFERENCE HALL BOOKING SYSTEM

This paper presents the design and implementation of a Conference Hall Booking System, a web-based application developed using Flask framework and Excel-based data storage.The system addresses the challenges of manual conference hall reservation processes by providing an automated, user-friendly platform for booking management.The application features role-based access control with separate interfaces for clients and administrators, comprehensive validation mechanisms, real-time conflict detection, and analytics dashboard for administrative insights.Unlike traditional database-driven systems, this implementation utilizes Excel as the primary data storage medium, making it lightweight and easily deployable in resource-constrained environments.The system successfully demonstrates how modern web technologies can be integrated with conventional data storage formats to create efficient booking management solutions.Testing results indicate significant improvements in booking efficiency, reduced conflicts, and enhanced user satisfaction compared to manual processes.
