Agrisaksham Bot

Agriculture is a key sector that not only supports a large population but also contributes significantly to the Indian economy.Nevertheless, the industry is plagued by a myriad of challenges like the scarcity of workers, poor access to advanced tools, and dependence on inadequate and time-consuming old-age farming practices.To make matters worse, advanced technologies are so complex that farmers' non-technical background considerably slows down their acceptance.The project presents a multilingual voice-controlled agricultural robot based on Raspberry Pi to facilitate the farming process.The system can be operated by farmers through natural voice commands in the local dialects and English thus, making the user interaction very friendly and straightforward.The speech recognition and processing parts are dealt with by Raspberry Pi.This robot is capable of doing all the basic farming activities which include ploughing, planting seeds, and spraying pesticides.The voice commands sent over an IoT connection allow controlling the robot from a distance.The whole setup requires less manual work, is faster, and offers a cost-efficient, user-friendly solution for the automation of agriculture.
