Abstract

Introduction: Women have long been custodians of traditional healing practices, particularly in rural and underserved communities. However, limited access to educational resources and authentic medicinal plants has hindered their ability to maximize their potential in sustainable healthcare and entrepreneurship.FloraCRAFT, an innovative AR/VR platform, offers a revolutionary solution to bridge this gap and empower women through immersive learning and community engagement. Objective: Access to medicinal plant knowledge is often confined to physical gardens, which are not accessible to everyone, especially women in rural areas. This lack of resources prevents them from effectively participating in healthcare initiatives, conducting research, or contributing to environmental sustainability.Additionally, unreliable supply chains make it difficult for women entrepreneurs to obtain genuine medicinal plants for their ventures.Solution: FloraCRAFT combines AR/VR technologies to provide an interactive 3D platform where users, especially women, can explore, learn, and engage with medicinal plants.Gamified virtual challenges simulate real-world planting, directly leading to tree plantation.Women can connect with experts for mentorship, conduct research, and access authentic suppliers via a virtual marketplace, enabling them to grow as leaders in the AYUSH sector.Methodology: The platform integrates immersive VR experiences, allowing users to interact with plants in a realistic environment.Features include 3D pop-up information on plant benefits, gamified learning modules, and hardware support via VR headsets and controllers.Business Model: FloraCRAFT creates economic opportunities by providing a marketplace for medicinal plants, empowering women entrepreneurs and researchers.Experts can earn income through mentorship and research collaborations, while users contribute to reforestation initiatives and community
