Abstract

The rapid growth of urbanization, coupled with the expansion of higher education institutions and competitive exami-nation coaching centers, has significantly altered the demographic movement of students.Every year, millions of students migrate to metropolitan educational hubs, creating a massive demand for affordable, safe, and reliable accommodation. However, the cur-rent student accommodation sector remains largely unorganized, fragmented, and inefficient.Students are often forced to rely on informal intermediaries such as local brokers, leading to inflated costs, lack of transparency, and safety concerns. This paper presents "Roomzy," a comprehensive web-based accommodation platform designed specifically for students and exam aspirants.Built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Ex-press.js,React.js, and Node.js),Roomzy addresses these chal-lenges by providing a centralized ecosystem for verified list-ings, transparent pricing, and direct communication between students and property owners. The system incorporates role-based authentication, advanced search filtering, and a feedback loop to ensure trust.Comparative analysis with traditional search methods demonstrates that Roomzy significantly reduces search time and financial overhead, establishing a foundation for a scalable, student-centric housing solution.
