IOT Based Fire Detection And Supression System

Fire accidents pose a serious threat to human life, property, and the environment, especially in residential, industrial, and commercial areas.Early detection and rapid suppression of fire are crucial to minimizing damage and preventing casualties.This project presents an IoT Based Fire Detection and Suppression System that continuously monitors environmental conditions to detect fire hazards and automatically initiates preventive actions.The system utilizes sensors such as flame sensors, gas sensors, and temperature monitoring components integrated with a microcontroller to detect fire-related parameters in real time.Upon detection of fire or gas leakage beyond a predefined threshold, the system activates a water pump through a relay module to suppress the fire and simultaneously sends alert notifications to authorized users using GSM/IoT communication.By automating fire detection and response, the proposed system reduces dependency on human intervention, enhances safety, and ensures quick action during emergencies.The system is cost-effective, reliable, and suitable for deployment in homes, industries, warehouses, and public places.
