Pancreatic Cancer Detection System
Abstract
Pancreatic cancer has a very high mortality rate because effective treatment options are limited especially in advanced stages one of the major challenges with this disease is the difficulty in detecting it at an early stage early and accurate diagnosis is extremely important to improve patient survival rates this research paper presents a pancreatic cancer detection system that supports healthcare professionals by enabling early-stage diagnosis using intelligent computing techniques the proposed system is developed as an end-to-end application with a well-defined frontend and backend architecture the frontend provides a user-friendly and interactive interface where users can enter medical data or upload medical images and view the prediction results the backend is responsible for data preprocessing feature extraction model execution and result generation machine learning and deep learning models are applied to classify cases as cancerous or noncancerous by learning patterns from the input data preprocessing methods such as noise removal normalization and data balancing are used to improve model accuracy and reliability the performance of the system is evaluated using standard metrics including accuracy sensitivity specificity and precision the proposed system acts as a decision-support tool that helps reduce diagnosis time and errors allowing for early clinical intervention and improved patient care in the future the system can be enhanced by integrating realtime clinical data and advanced deep learning models to improve scalability and robustness further development may also involve deployment in clinical environments for real-world applications
