Abstract

Self-Help Groups (SHGs) play a vital role in empowering rural and semi-urban communities, especially women, by promoting savings, credit activities, and entrepreneurship. However, traditional management of BachatGat activities involves manual record keeping, which is time-consuming, error-prone, and lacks transparency. This paper presents "Smart BachatGat", a web-based digital platform designed to automate and manage SHG operations efficiently. The system provides features such as member management, savings and loan tracking, meeting records, announcements, and secure authentication.By digitizing SHG processes, the proposed system improves accuracy, transparency, and accessibility while reducing administrative workload. The platform is scalable, user-friendly, and suitable for real-world deployment in community-based financial groups.
