Abstract

Prolonged computer use has become common in today's work and learning environments. It often results in eye strain, poor posture, mental fatigue, and long-term musculoskeletal issues.Traditional wellness solutions depend on manual reminders or wearable devices. These options are often intrusive, non-adaptive, and do not fit well into daily routines. To overcome these challenges, this paper introduces Vision-Based PC User Health Monitoring Software. This technology uses computer vision and smart behavioral analysis to improve ergonomic safety and digital well-being in a non-intrusive way.The system continuously monitors users while they work on the computer using a standard webcam. It collects important visual cues such as eye blink patterns, head position, and shoulder alignment. The system analyzes these cues in real time to identify signs of eye fatigue, poor posture, unhealthy viewing distance, and excessive screen time without breaks.Instead of using fixed thresholds, it takes a personalized, learning-based approach that adjusts to each user's behavior. It assesses health risks based on how long they spend at the computer and long-term trends. An intelligent alert and break guidance system offers feedback that fits the context, along with corrective suggestions and preventive recovery steps. It does all this without interrupting important tasks. The approach also considers ethics by limiting data storage, processing only necessary information, and ensuring transparency to build user trust. This method aims to improve long-term eye health and posture, encourage healthier work habits, and reduce physical strain. It positions the system as a helpful digital wellness assistant instead of a monitoring tool.
