Sarkari Connect: A Centralized Digital Platform for Accessing Government Schemes and Public Services
Abstract
In India, information related to government schemes and public welfare services is distributed across multiple official portals, making it difficult for citizens to access accurate and timely details. Many beneficiaries fail to take advantage of available schemes due to lack of awareness, complex documentation processes, and scattered information sources.Sarkari Connect is proposed as a unified digital platform designed to centralize information related to government schemes, eligibility criteria, required documents, and application procedures in a single system. The proposed platform is developed as a web-based application with a structured frontend and backend architecture. The frontend provides a simple and user-friendly interface that allows users to explore schemes based on categories such as education, health, employment, agriculture, and social welfare. The backend manages verified scheme data sourced from official government portals, ensuring accuracy and reliability.Sarkari Connect aims to enhance transparency, improve accessibility, and increase scheme awareness among citizens. The system acts as a digital bridge between government initiatives and the public.Future enhancements may include multilingual support, mobile application integration, and intelligent recommendation features to improve user engagement and reach.
