Abstract

Anatomy is one of the most important subjects in medical education and it is usually very taught at the beginning of the medical course for a student. It deals with the structure of the human body and explains about bones, muscles, and how different organs, tissues, and systems are arranged and related to each other.A clear understanding of anatomy is necessary for learning all other medical subjects, like physiology, pathology, medicine, surgery, and radiology.Without basic anatomical knowledge, these are all subjects you don't understand properly.A doctor cannot properly examine a patient or understand a disease process or provide safe and effective treatment, without the basic knowledge of anatomy.Anatomy also has a strong connection with clinical practice. It helps medical students develop skills needed during patient examination and hospital work.Knowledge of anatomy allows doctors to locate organs correctly, understand clinical signs, interpret imaging findings, and carry out medical or surgical procedures with more safety.Clinical anatomy is helpful because it connects theoretical learning with practical experience in real clinical settings. Many clinical errors can occur when anatomical knowledge is weak or incomplete. This article explains the importance of anatomy in medical science and describes why it is considered the foundation of medical education. The aim of this article is to explain the role of anatomy in a simple and understandable way for medical students.
