Online Doctor Appointment Booking System Using Web Technologies

The Online Doctor Appointment Booking System is a web based healthcare management system developed to automate and simplify the process of scheduling medical appointments.Traditional appointment systems rely on manual booking through hospital visits or telephone calls, which leads to long waiting times and scheduling conflicts.The proposed system provides an online platform where patients can view doctor availability, book appointments in real-time, and manage schedules efficiently.The system is developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript for the front end and PHP with MySQL for the back end.It operates on a XAMPP server environment.The system enhances transparency, reduces administrative workload, and improves patient convenience.Experimental results show that the system reduces booking time and prevents duplicate scheduling.
