DETAILED REVIEW ON HERBAL COLD CREAM: A NOVEL PHARMACEUTICAL PERSPECTIVE

A cosmetic product is any substance or preparation intended to be placed in contact with the various external part of human body.Cosmetics are the preparations used to beautify and enhancing the human appearances.The aim of this study was to prepare a cold cream for the purpose of moisturizing, brightening and for treating tan.The cold cream was prepared by using water in-oil method.The creams showed good consistency, spreading ability, pH, and no significant changes in physical properties.The cold creams were also found to be physico-chemically, mechanically, and microbiologically stable, with characteristics of a standard cosmeceutical formulation for skincare.The choice of ingredients is based on the various medicinal properties of these agents.The cream is tested on different evaluation parameters.
