Abstract

Solar Cycle 25 has seen greater solar activity, including more solar flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs), which has had an impact on interplanetary space and geomagnetic conditions around Earth. This paper provides a statistical analysis of solar flares and accompanying CMEs throughout Solar Cycle 25 (2019-2025).Data were gathered from NASA, NOAA, SOHO, and Space Weather databases to investigate flare strength, CME speed, and geoeffectiveness. The research demonstrates a substantial association between X-class flares and fast CMEs, especially during the cycle's rising and peak phases. The findings suggest that high-speed CMEs associated with powerful solar flares greatly increase geomagnetic disturbances and space weather variability. This research leads to an enhanced knowledge of solar eruptions and their relevance in space weather forecasting.
