Abstract

This study is a comprehensive literature review with content analysis to synthesize research on the impact of digital communication on Generation Alpha's interpersonal relationships.Born after 2010, Generation Alpha is immersed in a hyper-connected world where smartphones, social media, and instant messaging dominate social interaction. The literature highlights that while digital platforms offer new opportunities for connection and self-expression, they also pose challenges to face-to-face communication, empathy, and conflict resolution.Studies suggest that digital communication fosters shallow relationships, reducing emotional depth and affecting social skills. This review emphasizes the dual role of technology, empowering Generation Alpha with new forms of connectivity while potentially hindering traditional interpersonal skill development.
