Retinova: AI Powered Detection Of Retinal Degeneration from High Resolution Fundus Images

Multi Eye Disease Detection (Retinova) is a deep learning-based web application designed to analyze retinal images and identify common eye diseases at an early stage.The system enables quick and reliable diagnosis by using an AI model that provides instant predictions along with medical insights.It supports detection of major eye conditions such as Age-related Macular Degeneration, Cataract, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, and Normal eye status, helping doctors and patients take timely action.The application is developed using a Flaskbased backend with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, while the AI model is built using EfficientNetB3 with transfer learning.The system processes retinal images through preprocessing, augmentation, training, validation, and evaluation phases to achieve high accuracy.It also generates a downloadable professional PDF report and displays predictions with confidence scores, making it practical for real-world healthcare support.
