Abstract

This repository contains annual reports and a longitudinal data set of summary results from the Ontario Farmland Value and Rental Value Survey. This survey is supported by OMAFA, and has been conducted annually for nine years (between 2017 and 2025). Between 2017 and 2022, the survey was administered in January/February of each year in partnership with the Ontario Farmers' Association (OFA) via an anonymous online survey form distributed to their member email list. In 2023, the Ontario Chapter of the National Farmers Union (NFU-O) and the Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario (CFFO) joined the survey, and distributed it via email to their membership. The aim of this survey has been to generate public information about farmland values and rental rates for Ontario at the Census Division level. Results have been made publicly available for the use and benefit of farmers, farmland owners, and other interested stakeholders.
