In today’s fast-changing economy, proper financial planning and smart investing are essential for financial security. With many investment options available—such as mutual funds, fixed deposits, insurance, stocks, and digital platforms—people need sufficient awareness to make the right choices. Market fluctuations make careful investment planning even more important. Male college faculty members generally have good education and stable income, but their investment decisions depend on their knowledge of investment options, attitude toward risk, and financial responsibilities. Coimbatore, as a growing educational and business hub, offers easy access to various financial services. This study focuses on understanding the awareness, perceptions, and investment behaviour of male college faculty members in Coimbatore city, to highlight existing gaps and support better financial awareness and planning.
