Abstract

To study investigates the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties of ixora coccinea a medicinal plant traditionally used for treating various ailments, especially inflammatory conditions and infections. Bioassay-guided fractionation using column chromatography led to the isolation of Kaempferol 3-O-β- D-glucopyranoside, from the methanol extract, which were further characterized using FTIR and NMR spectroscopy
