Abstract

The study examined the means of strength and resilience that shaped the prestige of the tribe, making it a formidable fortress and a solid shield capable of safeguarding its security and possessions, and deterring anyone who might attempt to harm it. It highlighted that this strength rendered the tribe feared and respected, resilient against enemies, and able to inflict significant damage on any aggressor, leaving an enduring impact. This power was not limited to defense alone but also served as a source of strength in times of peace, providing the tribe with the means for a dignified life and enhancing its social and economic standing. The research concluded that every aspect of pre-Islamic society could be harnessed as a deterrent, ensuring the tribe's protection while respecting communal rights and values. It also emphasized the symbolic triad of (the birth of a boy, the emergence of a poet, and the crowning of a horse) as a source of integrated strength that shielded the tribe from the oppression of aggressors and safeguarded its resources and status. Based on these findings, the study recommended a deeper exploration of this rich and inexhaustible heritage, analyzing the living conditions, surrounding circumstances, and adaptive strategies of pre-Islamic society, in order to draw lessons that can inspire contemporary approaches to social cohesion, community protection, and political resilience.
