Abstract

Technological developments and modern social changes have had a significant impact on the behavior of elementary school students. Phenomena such as declining manners, low empathy, lack of discipline, and a weakened sense of responsibility demonstrate the need to strengthen character education. One of the most effective strategies for instilling moral values in students is through teacher role models. As the primary figures who interact with students daily, teachers' behavior serves as concrete models that children imitate and internalize. This article discusses the importance of moral education, the strategic role of teacher role models, relevant forms of role modeling for elementary school students, and various obstacles and solutions that can be implemented in elementary school environments. This article is a combination of various studies, theories, and research findings previously presented. This article was written using a qualitative descriptive approach by combining theoretical studies and research findings, and resulted in the conclusion that teacher role models are the main factor in strengthening students' moral values.
