Abstract

One of the most significant side effects of pesticides is their negative impact on natural enemies, which is evident in all agricultural ecosystems and is especially relevant in integrated pest control. While biocontrol alone is often insufficient to manage pests, the use of pesticides is unavoidable in many cases. Therefore, it is essential to be aware of the merits and demerits of pesticides and pay attention to their side effects on natural enemies. By implementing efficient management methods, the adverse effects of pesticides on natural enemies can be minimized. For this reason, it is necessary to study the effects of pesticides on natural enemies to enable their combined use as powerful pest management tools.
