Abstract

Head and neck bone tumors are a group of distinct entities, primarily due to the unique and complex anatomy and function of the head and neck region. The correct management of head and neck bone tumors requires multidisciplinary approaches, with surgical management often being the main approach. This chapter will discuss the general management of head and neck bone tumors, including both benign and malignant lesions. We have also included the surgical principles in managing head and neck bone tumors, such as surgical resection and reconstruction. This chapter will cover all types of reconstructions. The goal is to provide insight into managing head and neck bone tumors for head and neck surgeons, oncologists, physical therapists, and speech pathologists.
