Abstract

This dataset describes wave propagations and mechanical properties of sea ice in the Marginal Ice Zone (MIZ). Collected during a field campaign in the St. Lawrence Estuary, Canada, during winter 2025. The data were designed to characterize ocean wave propagation and sea ice mechanical properties under natural conditions. The dataset integrates synchronized measurements from geophone and DAS arrays, wave buoys, smartphones configured as motion sensors, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
