Abstract

Brief Introduction to the Raw Dataset Basic Information of the Dataset Dataset Name: Raw Dataset for Structural Characterization and In Vitro Anti-inflammatory Activity of the Homogeneous Polysaccharide CCL-S8 from Cucumber Seeds Data Authors: Zhang Zhihong, Peng Mengfan, Li Qianqian, Wang Qiuhong, Kuang Haixue, Yang Lei Author Affiliations: School of Medicine, Huanghuai University, Zhumadian 463000, China Key Laboratory of Basic and Applied Research of Northern Medicine, Ministry of Education, Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, Harbin 150040, China School of Chinese Materia Medica, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, Guangzhou 50006, China Funding: Key Scientific Research Project Plan of Colleges and Universities in Henan Province (No. 26B360017) Data Version: V1.0 Time Range: 2024–2025 Data Format: CSV, Excel Data Volume: 9 sub-datasets, including 1284 raw experimental data records Background and Application This dataset was constructed based on the research project Isolation, Purification and In Vitro Anti-inflammatory Activity of Cucumber Seed Polysaccharides. It fully records the core raw experimental data of isolation, purification, structural characterization, and in vitro anti-inflammatory activity evaluation of the homogeneous polysaccharide CCL-S8 from cucumber seeds. The dataset supports the key conclusions of this study, including verification of polysaccharide purity and homogeneity, structural feature analysis, cell viability assay, inhibition of inflammatory mediators, and regulation of inflammation-related gene expression. It also provides reusable experimental data for the study of structure–activity relationships of plant polysaccharides and screening of natural anti-inflammatory substances, and can be used for secondary analysis and methodological validation in statistical software such as GraphPad Prism and SPSS.
