Abstract

To investigate the effects of WeChat-based continuation care on pelvic floor muscle strength, compliance with pelvic floor muscle exercises, sexual quality of life, and nursing satisfaction among patients with mild to moderate pelvic floor dysfunction. Methods: From July 2024 to October 2025, 100 patients diagnosed with mild to moderate pelvic floor dysfunction at the gynecology outpatient department of a tertiary-level hospital in Yunnan Province were randomly assigned to an experimental group (n=50) and a control group (n=50). The control group received conventional nursing care, while the experimental group received WeChat-based continuity of care intervention in addition to conventional care. Both groups underwent assessments of pelvic floor muscle strength, exercise adherence, sexual quality of life, and nursing satisfaction at baseline, 1 month, and 4 months post-intervention.
