Abstract

This dataset, titled "Dataset for Detection of Body Surface Damage in Large Yellow Croaker," originates from a research project on underwater object detection and smart aquaculture at Fuzhou University. It aims to address the challenge of automatically identifying body surface injuries (e.g., scratches, ulcerations) in Large Yellow Croakers under high-density farming conditions.1. Data Collection The data were collected from deep-sea net cage aquaculture bases and experimental pools in Fujian Province, China. Underwater cameras were used to capture videos of swimming fish. Clear images were manually extracted from these videos, covering complex underwater scenarios with varying lighting, turbidity, and occlusions.2. Data Content and Format The dataset contains a total original images .
