The dataset encompasses all data from the investigated succession of the Naqing section, including δ13Ccarb, δ18O, δ13Corg values (Supplementary Table 1); TS, TOC, Hg, Hg/TOC (SupplementaryTable 2); Major elements of acid-insoluble residues and converted CIA/CIAcorr/CIX values (Supplementary Table 3); Trace elements (μg/g) of carbonate components (Supplementary Table 4).
