Abstract

This project aims to investigate the genetic mechanisms underlying the difference in heat resistance between largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) and Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), two widely cultured Perciformes fishes, through comparative transcriptomics and epigenetics.
