Abstract

This dataset contains the raw data and solving codes supporting all figures in the manuscript titled "Submarine Sail Trailing Edge Optimization Based on Global Linear Stability Analysis" (manuscript ID: 256872840, targeting submission to Ships and Offshore Structures). The research aims to optimize the geometric shape of the submarine sail trailing edge using global linear stability analysis to improve flow characteristics. The dataset strictly corresponds to the figures in the paper and serves as the foundation for verifying the numerical simulations and optimization results presented in the study. Its core value lies in the following aspects: Firstly, the release of this dataset directly fulfills the mandatory "Data Availability Statement" requirement of the journal, ensuring the reproducibility of the research and the reliability of the findings. Secondly, it provides complete benchmark data and code for other researchers to reproduce the results or conduct further stability analysis and optimization design studies. Finally, this dataset can also serve as a valuable teaching and research reference in the fields of fluid mechanics, hydrodynamics, and engineering optimization.
