Abstract

Leaves of Zizania latifolia were treated with phytosulfokine (PSK) and transcriptome sequencing (BioProject accession: PRJNA1377146) was performed to investigate gene expression profiles. The results demonstrated that exogenous PSK positively regulated the growth and development of Zizania latifolia. KEGG and GO pathway analyses revealed that PSK treatment significantly affected the phenylpropanoid biosynthesis and fatty acid degradation pathways, and modulated metabolic development of Zizania latifolia mainly by influencing lignin biosynthesis and peroxisomal reactions.
