Interaction data of perceived task difficulty × emotional barrage
Abstract
Adopting a two factor inter subject design of 2 (perceived task difficulty: high/low) x 2 (barrage valence: positive/negative). The dependent variables include subjective cognitive load (internal/external/related cognitive load, psychological effort and subjective difficulty), academic emotions, intrinsic motivation, learning outcomes (recognition, transfer), and eye movement indicators. The control variables are background knowledge and levels of positive and negative emotions before learning. Using perceived task difficulty and emotional barrage type as intergroup variables, and subject background knowledge questionnaire, positive negative emotion scale score, and difficulty induction effect questionnaire score as dependent variables, a two factor analysis of variance was conducted on the data using 2 (perceived task difficulty: high/low) x 2 (emotional barrage type: positive/negative). Perform a 2x2 analysis of variance on internal cognitive load, external cognitive load, related cognitive load, psychological effort, and subjective difficulty; Perform a 2 × 2 × 2 mixed analysis of variance on the average pupil diameter, with perceived task difficulty and barrage efficacy as inter group variables and regions of interest (IA1/IA2) as intra group variables; Perform a 2 × 2 analysis of variance on internal motivation and academic emotions; Perform a 2 × 2 analysis of variance on recognition and transfer scores.
