A dataset of carbon and water fluxes of the desert ecosystem at Huazhaizi Station from 2015 to 2024

The dataset includes flux observation data for the desert ecosystem at the Huazhaizi desert steppe station in the midstream reaches of the Heihe River Basin(Huazhaizi Station), covering the years 2015-2024. The station is in Zhangye, Gansu Province. Based on the ChinaFLUX data processing system, we processed the raw observation data to produce this standardized dataset of ecosystem carbon and water fluxes and key meteorological elements. In the dataset, the data for each year consists of 8 Excel data files, divided into two categories: LITE, which includes major fluxes and meteorological variables, and ALL, which adds data quality and interpolation indicators on the basis of LITE. Each category has four data files, including data files at four scales: half-hour (HH), day (DD), month (MM), and year (YY).
