Water vapor measurements made by the Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry instrument on the Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics satellit
Abstract
The Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry (SABER) instrument, aboard NASA's Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics (TIMED) satellite, provides long-term global measurements of atmospheric water vapor (H₂O) in the middle and upper atmosphere. Launched on December 7, 2001, SABER has been delivering continuous data since January 2002, establishing one of the most comprehensive datasets for studying H₂O variability from the upper troposphere to the lower thermosphere
